Class Rules
The class has entered into a contract with Mr Wong regarding the class rules. Theses rules are shown above. The punishments are also agreed upon. They are:
1st time offenders: 5 minutes of recess taken off.
2nd time offenders: 10 minutes of recess taken off.
3rd time offenders: 15 minutes of recess taken off.
4th time offenders: refer to LM, DM
Let's make the class a better place to study. Welcome back to school!

How about showing some "Do"s instead of "Do not"s...
"Do not"s are very typical in rules. "Do"s connotes positive attitudes, instead of highlighting the negative attitudes..
Think about it.
By the way, the first sentence has wrong grammar...i think you know which one :P

Thanks for alerting me to the typo. I will update the copy in class. It should read "Raise your arm when you want to speak." :)
I agree with you that "dos" are more positive. That is why the first few rules are not "don'ts". When I taught the upper primary classes, I only had one rule - Respect the teachers and friends. That is because when there is respect, there would be no fighting, talking in class, handing in late work etc.
However, I wanted to be a little more specific since "respect" can be a very big word to some of them at this level. This is the reason why there are some "don'ts" in the class rules.

Hi Mr Wong,
I think u should talk to wen yi because wen yi likes to shout when doing her job. +plus she only care about the boys and never care about the girls.And that gave the girlz advancetage to talk .
If u ask me who u prefer, (wen yi/safwana)i would prefer safwana.
She never shouts when she is doing her job not like wen yi does.I think u should change the line moniters or if u dont want to change line moniter plz give a good talk to wen yi.plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz .

I agree that the "@" can be confusing but if its just used in names, I suppose that its still alright. :)
As for the new class committee, I have my reasons for allocating the roles. I will explain to the class when the time is right. ;P

from sorfina 2 mr wong,
i agree wif nobody but "jacob" every time never take care of the class he make me shout and he every time talk wif the boys when recess is over and he jus stand ther n yak yak yak never even walk accept for his mouth, i find it hard for me and than gladys never even take care in class we all do the "5,4,3,2,1"she jus gu gu gong gong wan jus talk to esther and recess time she worst jus sit ther talk wif the girls, at least take care lah, no fair 1 leh, than jacob never scold 1 jus keep on talking and talking, i find very hard to do it myself
