Total Defence Day

The whole of Singapore commemorates Total Defence Day today. The school played its part by carrying out the school emergency exercise. They was a fire drill and the whole school evacuated to the school field.

The P5 also had a very special Science lesson today. They gathered in the hall and made models of animal and plant cells. These were some of the materials which were used:

Starch - cytoplasm
Preserved plum - nucleus
Ziploc Bag - cell membrane
Chloroplast - green bean
Plastic container - cell wall

Looking at the video, the students sure had fun!

After school, there was the salad making competition. All the salads looked absolutely delicious. Stay tuned. The results will be announced next Wednesday.
