First day of school for 2007

It's back to school for the year. The class size stand at 35 for the moment. A nice and cosy number I suppose. There were mixed feelings as some were glad to be back while others (like myself) felt that the holidays were a little too short. Sadly, Mrs Gurung did not follow the class up as she remained behind to oversee the new P4 sports class.

Class rules were revisited and books were collected and kept in class. The book we will be using for class reading is "The Teenage Textbook" - a book every teenager should and must read.

Let's work together to make 2007 a fruitful year for all!

Hi Egan,

You're right! It's really full of puns. Maybe we can learn some of these and use them in our writings.

Hi Joshua,

The formal definition of pun is "the humorous use of a word or phrase so as to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, or the use of words that are alike or nearly alike in sound but different in meaning; a play on words" taken from www.dictionary.com.

Does it sound familiar? We did it last year. :)
