Dragon Klin Visit

As part of the art lesson, the class visited the Dragon Klin in Jurong. Personally, it was an eye opener. I never knew such a place existed in Singapore (even though it is next to NIE).

The visit started with a video session followed by some hands-on. Some of us got to try our hands at the potter's wheel. It was fun! Following that, we went into the klin to have a look and we toured the place as well.

The visit ended with some group photographs and each of us was given a little momento - an angel figurine. Many thanks to Mdm Sue who accompanied us on the visit.

Joyous occasions

The class welcomed three new members. They are Sherwin (previously from 4J), Khalil (who came back from abroad) and Rifqi (previously from 4G). Let's work together as a class to study hard and play hard as well!

The class celebrated the birthday of the "JJ" babies... Can anyone make a guess as to what "JJ" stands for? Taufiq seems to be captivated by the fire and does not seem to want to blow out the candle... Hmmm...

Term 3

We are at the start of term three. Times flies. Today, the class welcomed three more members into the family. I will let them share more about themselves here over the next few days.

We also talked about RESPECT. Can someone care to share here what we discussed in class?

Happy (but tired) campers

The class went for the P5 camp and they had lots of fun. You can see this from the photographs above. On the first day, they went to the rope obstacles course and many of them found it exciting. I wonder how it feels to be so high up? *Gulp*

The second day was spent in school but it was not any less interesting. They had a chance to cook their own meal! Certain things happened and I hope the class learnt from that. There was also a campfire organised for the campers. For many of them, it was the first campfire.

On the last day, there was lots of packing up to be done. Everyone was tired and some of them were looking forward to relaxing in their beds.

The three days flew past but it was time well spent. I think the class bonded pretty well. What are some of the high and low points of the camp?
