Post exam fun

Having fun at the computer lab

The exams are finally over. It's time to relax a little. Time flies. The academic year is coming to a close. Anyone has any suggestions for post exams activity, other than going to the computer lab?

Our next major event for the class would be the BBQ on 19th November. : ) Everyone must be looking forward to it.

Wishing one and all a very Happy Deeparaya!!

Wait till you're older

I caught the above movie today. It was fantastic. It really reminded me of the importance of time and the importance of being ourselves. Here is the review taken from http://www.genting.com.my/en/live_ent/cineplex/2005/oct_wait.htm

"
Twelve-year-old Kong is an unhappy child. He has not been happy since his mother's suicide three years ago, which he blames on his father and stepmother. He runs away from home one day and meets an eerie old man who claims he has a potion that can speed up the life process. As much as he would like to believe it, this is all baloney to him. So when he accidentally taints his blood with the potion, he hardly expects his fate is about to change forever. It is an impossible dream comes true when Kong wakes up the next morning to find himself already a twenty-year-old young man."

When I was young, I always wanted to grow up and be free to do what I want to do. Now that I am grown up, I wish I was a kid again. Any of you feel the same way? Please share your thoughts.

Game masters for the end of year treasure hunt

After marking the English worksheets, I have selected 7 students to help me plan for the year end treasure hunt. They are:

Ling Hwee
Kuven
Yi Xin
Chelsia
Jacob
Yu Fei
Ivan

These students have very interesting ideas in their English worksheets. I am sure they can come up with something exciting. The rest of the class will be in for a treat... : )

PSLE begins...

Today marks the first day of PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examinations). The atmosphere at school today was so tense. It reminded me of the time I took my PSLE. That was so long ago but I remembered it clearly. I am so glad I do not have to sit for any more examinations.

Maybe someone who has a sibling who is taking the PSLE this year can comment. : )

October baby????

The mysterious October baby?

Today is the start of the week. It was a surprise to me because none of the students in the class was born in the month of October. Wow... What are the odds?

The exams are really getting near. Time seems to be passing so quickly. Let's work hard to do well in this term.

Carpe Diem!!
