Lunar New Year Celebration

Today, we celebrated Lunar New Year in school with a concert and some craft work. School started earlier at 11.30am. The class had to make some fish from red packets and decorated the class with them.

Following that, there was a concert where there were performances from a lion dance troop and our own pupils. What a great way to celebrate! School ended at 4pm and everyone went home happy. Have a look at the video clip below.

It's a labby day...

Much of the day was spent in the computer lab and the Science lab. Students were required to search for information online and complete their information report and an animal. In the Science lab, students carried out 4 different experiments relating to mass and volume. Hope this will help them in the Science test next week... Gulp!!...

January Babies

"Janulites"

The sun has been out for a couple of days now. The wet spell is coming to an end! Hurray!! Today the class celebrated the birthday of the "Janulites", Nurshafik and Nicklaus. I wonder what Nicklaus is looking at? Hmmm... Nurshafik seems to be eagerly awaiting the cake (with his mouth half open)...

The class went for their second evening jog today. Many of them managed to jog three rounds without stopping! That's a great improvement! Keep it up!

The first week in school

We have survived the first week of school! The day ended with the "Meet the Parents" session. This session allowed the parents to come into the classroom and mingled with the teachers. The feedback provided by the parents was very helpful.

Many thanks to all the parents who turned up.

2006 is here!

Today was the first day of school. The students got to meet their new teachers and classmates for the first time. 4B was bustling with activities as they got to meet their form teachers - Mr Wong and Mrs Gurung. The other teacher teaching the class is Mr Mark Quek. He is teaching the class music.

The class has agreed on 3 class rules. They are:

Respect others
Respect yourself
Respect objects

Let's work towards making the class a pleasant place to study and play this year.
