Lo Hei 2007
Once again, it's back to school after a 4 day Lunar New Year break. The teachers had a little "lo hei" today to celebrate in our own tiny way. Doesn't the food look delicious. I heard that every ingredient has a meaning. Does anyone know?
The soccer boys has done us proud when they won 2-0 today. That assures them a place in the top 2. Well done boys.
The class went to the computer lab to type in the anti-drug essay before proceeding to the hall for the Lunar New Year Celebrations.
There was an exciting concert which included a GuZheng performance, a skit, a choral performance, singing of Lunar New Year songs and of course not forgetting the Lion Dance. This year, there were TWO PLAYFUL lions... I liked that the most. What about you?
The whole of Singapore commemorates Total Defence Day today. The school played its part by carrying out the school emergency exercise. They was a fire drill and the whole school evacuated to the school field.
The P5 also had a very special Science lesson today. They gathered in the hall and made models of animal and plant cells. These were some of the materials which were used:
The class went to Chinatown today as part of the primary 5 learning journey. It was decided that they should go at this time because it is just before Lunar New Year. They were many things to see there. I think the best part was shopping.
However, I am sure the class learnt many things too. What are some things that you learnt from this learning journey?
