5B Treasure Chest

Everyone needs encouragement sometimes. Following the practice last year, anyone who has accumulated 10 stickers will get a little token. This year however, there are some exciting tokens to be given out. They range from toys to stationery. The picture above illustrates this simple process.

Start collecting those stickers now!

Microsoft PowerPoint Lesson 1

Monday is here again! I think its the most difficult day of the week, especially having rested over the weekend. The class had their first Mircosoft PowerPoint lesson my the IT Trainer, Mr. Faizul. The teacher assistant, Mrs. Jean, also helped out during the lesson.

The class learnt how to create a simple PowerPoint presentation and how to add pictures and change the colour of the background. I think this skill would be useful when the class has to create presentations, maybe during IPW.

We live in Singapura

Have a look at the short animation above. It actually depicts the history of Singapore and how Singapore has changed over time. What are some of these things that we are studying in Social Studies now?

Lessons started today with the core subjects - English, Math and Science. Lots to cover for the year! Let's stay focused and do our best!

First day of school for 2007

It's back to school for the year. The class size stand at 35 for the moment. A nice and cosy number I suppose. There were mixed feelings as some were glad to be back while others (like myself) felt that the holidays were a little too short. Sadly, Mrs Gurung did not follow the class up as she remained behind to oversee the new P4 sports class.

Class rules were revisited and books were collected and kept in class. The book we will be using for class reading is "The Teenage Textbook" - a book every teenager should and must read.

Let's work together to make 2007 a fruitful year for all!
